At Hydryx, we’re turning landfills into climate solutions. Landfills are one of the biggest blind spots in climate tech. They leak methane, one of the most potent greenhouse gases, into the atmosphere for decades. We think that’s fixable.‍

Founded in 2023, Hydryx builds technology that makes landfill gas systems work like they should. We replace outdated, manual infrastructure with fully automated systems. Our platform combines on-site sensors, real-time monitoring, and a smart control algorithm to capture more gas, reduce emissions, and generate clean power.‍

The entire stack is built in-house; hardware, software, cloud, and installed directly in the field. No assumptions, no black boxes. Just better control, better outcomes, and a real path to decarbonizing waste.

Your role

You’ll be at the heart of scaling Hydryx’s operations from a fast-moving startup to a globally effective organization. This role is about building: building processes, teams, and systems that allow us to deliver world-class landfill gas technology faster and better, across borders.

From day one, you’ll take ownership of how we shape and scale our operations. You’ll design our supply processes end-to-end, set up an international field service organization, develop our procurement structure, and evaluate how we can best outsource production of our hardware. You’ll also ensure that every current project that we have our customers are not just satisfied, but genuinely happy.

This is a role for people who think in processes but don’t need one to succeed, those who see a messy system and get excited by improving it. If you’ve scaled a hard- and software product before, that’s a big plus. And if the idea of putting on boots and visiting landfill sites around the world sounds like an adventure, you’ll fit right in.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize scalable operations processes that support Hydryx’s growth

• Set up and manage our international field service team to support deployments worldwide

• Design and implement an effective supply and procurement organization

• Evaluate and manage hardware production strategy, including potential outsourcing models

• Take full ownership of project delivery and customer satisfaction

• Develop strategies for fast, efficient international rollout and maintenance of sensor networks

• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams to align operational needs with growth objectives

• Embrace hands-on problem solving, from the office to the landfill

Who you are

You’re a pragmatic builder who enjoys bringing structure to fast-growing, messy environments and making things work at scale.

• You’ve scaled operations in a startup or scale-up with hardware involved

• You're comfortable with working at least 2 days per week at our client landfill sites

• You’re comfortable owning problems end-to-end, even when things are still undefined

• You think in processes, but act fast when reality doesn’t match the plan

• You enjoy working across teams: engineering, product, suppliers, and customers

• You care deeply about delivery quality and customer happiness

• You’re hands-on and enjoy being on-site to understand how things really work

• You’re energized by international growth and operational complexity
